Evening Folks, after many years of visiting PSC we want to submit code now too.
Its an application to create, manage and take tests.
You can create tests with various settings, sort the questions, run a simulation of the test, view test results and take it online (meaning using the program).
It includes a readme.txt for starting (since it uses a MySQL database) and the *.pdf manual.
It was part of the LMS module of the DBSV-Project, so you may notice some other "functions" like basic user and role management, creating classes and subjects.
The license checks as well as the encryption have been removed.
This application uses the "Key Login" from Jim K, thanks again for it.
If you feel like you may comment or - if you dare - vote...
This is an updated version, including some changes and you can now use MSSQL too.
Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, the author has submitted it as a .zip file to shorten your download time. Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come
out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.
Scan the source code with Minnow's Project Scanner
If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net

There shouldnt be any bugs, but if you find one, report them, thanks. And no "whats the database password" questions, this app doesnt use Access :-) (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
As said, this app uses MySQL as database. So you have to enter the data to connect to the MySQL Server. First the servers address (like "localhost") then the database name, then username and password. The user should have at least the following permissions on the database: "SELECT", "INSERT", "UPDATE", "DELETE", "CREATE", "DROP", "ALTER". (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
MySQL users should refer to "readme.txt" for using it. MSSQL users should remove the foreign key constraint from "dbsv_adm_logfile" after restoring the DB. (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
