     There are a number of different ways to copy the structure only of an Access table programatically, but none as simple as the following using ADO & ODBC.

Pardon me, but why was there a need to use CreateObject when adoConn1 was already dim'med As ADODB.Connection? Wouldn't that lead to late-binding?

According to Microsoft, when an Object is created from a class provided by another component, whether that object is created using CreateObject or New, they are both created using the COM object creation services. I could just as easily have used the single statement:
Dim adoConn1 As New ADODB.Connection
