Perhaps a little known item about textboxes is the ability to have it show a prompt when it has no text. SendMessage .hWnd, EM_SETCUEBANNER, False, StrPtr("Enter Height") but this requires a manifest specifying ComCtl32.dll v6.0 be provided The zip has two projects 1) A project with a usercontrol that works fairly well without the manifest 2) A project using a manifest. This 2nd project will run in the IDE but will not provide the CueBanner effect. It must be compiled and the included manifest file must be in the same folder

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.
  3. Scan the source code with Minnow's Project Scanner

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net
