Re-upload. A Pascal program using a variation of Huffman and LZW compression from way back in the 90s. Worked SO well for so many years. Easier to understand concepts if you follow the code. NOT ported over to VB, but more to use for ease of understanding.

At this time, 1531 people have viewed this project. That means 1531 people would have to port the code...just to see if it will compile, let alone runs. works. If a VB class project were to do what this code purports and you turned in a different language with a note, "if you want to do what this code is supposed to do, use this as a guide to actually write what we were supposed to turn in." ...or... if you were given an interview assignment (to do on the spot) and you turned over a different language, would you get the job?

Phil, Be constructive. Site is designed for sharing of knowledge for programmers to review, and improve themselves and their programs. It is not for leeching, and taking others code, but rather to learn from them to improve oneself. As stated, read the code to understand a concept, rather than giving you code to 'pass your interview'.
