Over time we made a lot of third party components for Visual Basic 6.0, keeping this programming language in trend with modern standards. Many of these controls were and still are ahead of time. Many big companies have adopted the design of certain controls designed in VB6 (vice versa also happened). Here I have chosen a set of controls designed between 2014 and 2007, that I thought were more advanced. If I omitted some state-of art projects (which is very likely) I apologize and please alert me.

One needs to register (per regtlib.exe) the appropriate typelib (OleGuids.tlb) which sits in a subfolder - alternatively (to avoid the struggling with the typlib) you can use the precompiled OCX, hosted on the Authors site...

This is the idea behind my Default Standard EXE replacement form submission, however much of the functionality and reasons for a lot of these controls is packed into less. planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=75260&lngWId=1
