Pillars Industrial Equipment

Sales and Inventory System

A few months before the Planet Source Code website crashed in June 2015, I downloaded a Sales and inventory program called Pillars Industrial Equipment. When the website came back up again a month or two later, the program was not uploaded again. Now, three years later, I have decided to upload it myself because I think it is quite good. I am not the original author.

I tested this program out on a 64bit Windows 7 Machine running Windows XP inside Microsoft's virtual machine. I installed Visual Basic 6. The Inventory program compiled successfully after I registered the necessary OCXs.

A study of the source code will come in useful for those who are interested in Visual Basic 6 and who want to learn more bout writing SQL queries for Access mdb  databases.

Here follows the text by the original author.

Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, the author has submitted it as a .zip file to shorten your download time. Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.
  3. Scan the source code with Minnow's Project Scanner

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
